This year’s MLB All-Star Game helped lead FOX to victory in the broadcast ratings for the week of July 8.
The network’s broadcast of the annual All-Star game took the week’s no. 1 spot in the adults 18-49 demo with a 1.9 rating, and came second in total viewers (8.15 million). Meanwhile, ABC’s “The Bachelorette” and NBC’s “America’s Got Talent” tied for second place in adults 18-49, with the two unscripted shows scoring matching 1.5 ratings.
However, it was “Got Talent” that landed at the top of the total viewers measure, after it raked in a 9.81 million viewer audience. Also on NBC, the series premiere of “Bring the Funny” placed well in the week’s charts, coming fourth in 18-49 (1.2) and fifth in total viewers (5.97 million).
In the network standings, FOX grabbed first place with a 0.7 average among adults 18-49, while ABC (0.6) and NBC (0.6) tied for second and CBS (0.5) came fourth.
