As the late-night NBC shows made their return, it was CBS’ turn to take the week off for April 2-6, 2018. To start, “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon” returned from a week of encores and ticked up from a 0.45 to a 0.53 rating in adults 18-49 on NBC. Similarly, “Late Night with Seth Meyers” rose five-hundredths of a point from its previous 0.26 to a 0.31 this time around.

On ABC, “Jimmy Kimmel Live” also returned up and scored a 0.46. Meanwhile, both “Late Show with Stephen Colbert” (0.32) and “The Late Late Show with James Corden” (0.20) took the week off and, as a result, were down from their previous ratings.

It was the same story with Comedy Central’s “Daily Show,” “The Opposition,” and TBS’ “Conan,” all of which aired only encore episodes throughout the week.
