In the week of April 24 – 28, “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon” continued its recent uptick, rising from its previous 0.64 to a 0.66 rating in adults 18-49, letting the NBC series, once again, lead the week in the 11:35 p.m. time slot for that demographic. Meanwhile, “Late Night with Seth Meyers” returned from a week off and actually fell slightly from a 0.34 to a 0.32, also on NBC.
CBS’ “Late Show with Stephen Colbert” took a minor hit as well, and fell one-hundredth of a point from a 0.45 to a 0.44 this week. Despite that, though, the series still landed on top in its time slot with more average viewers than either “Fallon” or “Jimmy Kimmel Live,” the latter of which took the week off. “The Late Late Show with James Corden,” held steady with a 0.26 for the second week in a row.
In cable, “The Daily Show” rose four-hundredths of a point from a 0.29 to a 0.33 on Comedy Central this week, while “Conan” dipped from a 0.23 to a 0.20 on TBS.
