With most of the network shows staying on hiatus, August 27-31 proved to be another quiet week in the late-night ratings. NBC’s “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon” fell three-hundredths of a point from a 0.42 to a 0.39, as did “Late Night with Seth Meyers” (0.22, -0.03). ABC’s “Jimmy Kimmel Live!,” however, was up from its previous 0.31 to a 0.35, while “The Late Show with Stephen Colbert” rose two-hundredths to a 0.30.

In cable, the week’s “The Daily Show with Trevor Noah” broadcasts were preempted, while TBS’ “Conan” took a minor hit, falling one-hundredth from the 0.13 it had averaged the week before, to a 0.12 this time around.
