In the week of Jan. 16-20, “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon” took a notable hit, falling from its previous 0.81 to a 0.73 rating in adults 18-49, though it managed to stay on top once again in the 11:35 p.m. timeslot. Also on NBC, “Late Night with Seth Meyers” dipped just one-hundredth of a point from a 0.40 to a 0.39.
After two consecutive weeks of low numbers, “Late Show with Stephen Colbert” managed to rise above “Jimmy Kimmel Live” after scoring a 0.52 on CBS, while the latter raked in a 0.50. On CBS, “The Late Late Show with James Corden” managed to tick up four-hundredths of a point from a 0.25 to a 0.29.
In cable, “Conan” also rose two-hundredths of a point from a 0.24 to a 0.26, while “The Daily Show with Trevor Noah” held steady with a 0.29 for the second week in a row.
