After taking a hit the week before, NBC’s “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon” managed to hold steady in the late-night ratings for the week of Jan. 29-Feb. 2, 2018, maintaining its previous 0.59 rating in adults 18-49. The same could not be said for “Late Night with Seth Meyers,” which took a minor hit, falling one-hundredth of a point from a 0.37 to a 0.36 this time around, also on NBC.
On CBS, “Late Show with Stephen Colbert” did manage to tick up to a 0.47 from its previous 0.44, but was not able to climb above ABC’s “Jimmy Kimmel Live,” which similarly rose from a 0.45 to a 0.48. Meanwhile, CBS’ “The Late Late Show with James Corden” returned from a brief hiatus and predictably, ticked up to a 0.28 rating.
In cable, Comedy Central’s “The Daily Show with Trevor Noah” also managed to tick up two-hundredths of a point from a 0.25 to a 0.22. “Conan” experienced a similar increase in its numbers too, climbing to a 0.17 on TBS.
Here are the late-night numbers for Jan. 29-Feb. 2, 2018:
Notes: Feb. 2’s “Kimmel,” “Late Night,” “Late Late Show” and “Last Call.” were encores. “Tonight” also aired a rebroadcast on Feb. 2 and those results are excluded from these averages. Feb. 1’s “Last Call” was preempted.
