After taking several weeks off, NBC’s “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon” finally returned with new broadcasts in the late-night ratings for the week of Jan. 8-12, 2018. Predictably too, the return resulted in the series ticking up from its previous 0.60 to a 0.64 rating in adults 18-49. Similarly, “Late Night with Seth Meyers” returned and rose three-hundredths of a point from a 0.34 to a 0.0.37, also on NBC.
On CBS, “The Late Show with Stephen Colbert” took a noticeable hit, falling from its previous 0.52 to a 0.47 this time around, which let ABC’s “Jimmy Kimmel Live” rise above it in the ratings, despite also dipping from a 0.51 to a 0.49. Meanwhile, CBS’ “The Late Late Show with James Corden” scored a 0.25 on CBS.
In cable, TBS’ “Conan” remained on hiatus and maintained its 0.12 rating once again. However, Comedy Central’s “The Daily Show with Trevor Noah” managed to tick up two-hundredths of a point from a 0.23 t0 a 0.25.
