“The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon” took a noticeable hit in the second week of the new TV season, falling five-hundredths of a point from its previous 0.51 to a 0.46 rating in adults 18-49. The NBC series did, however, still win the 11:35 p.m. time slot in the demo. “Late Night with Seth Meyers” was similarly down week-to-week from a 0.30 to a 0.27.
Elsewhere, both CBS’ “Late Show with Stephen Colbert” (0.45) and ABC’s “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” (0.37) were even with what they had scored the week before. Meanwhile, “The Late Late Show with James Corden” actually ticked up two-hundredths of a point from a 0.23 to a 0.25.
In cable, Comedy Central’s “The Daily Show with Trevor Noah” ticked down from a 0.24 to a 0.22, while TBS’ “Conan” was up two-hundredths to a 0.13.
