The late-night ratings for the week of Oct. 26-30 don’t look that different than usual on their face: “The Tonight Show” led in both adults 18-49 and viewers, and “The Late Show” held off “Jimmy Kimmel Live” for second.
Beyond that, though, “Tonight” had its best week in a month with a 0.97 rating in adults 18-49 and 3.76 million viewers. It also recorded its biggest margin of victory over “The Late Show” since Stephen Colbert took over.
CBS, meanwhile, notes that “Late Show” is up year-to-year in all key demos and has doubled its 18-34 audience. For the season, it’s up 60 percent in adults 18-49 and 20 percent in viewers.
Here are the late-night numbers for Oct. 26-30.
Note: All but “The Tonight Show” aired repeats on Oct. 30. The Oct. 29 “Late Show” and “Late Late Show” were delayed by CBS’ prime-time NFL telecast.
