As usual, “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon” led in the late-night ratings for the week of Sept. 11-15, 2017, despite taking a major hit from its numbers last week. The NBC series fell from its previous 0.74 to a 0.58 rating in adults 18-49 this time around. Meanwhile, “Late Night with Seth Meyers” experienced a similar decrease from last week’s 0.41 to a 0.34, also on NBC.
ABC’s “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” held steady with a 0.44 for the second week in a row but hit a three-month high in viewers. “The Late Show with Stephen Colbert” took the week off, resulting in the CBS series falling noticeably from a 0.42 to a 0.32. “The Late Late Show with James Corden” did not take the week off, however, and managed to maintain a 0.23 once again.
In cable, TBS’ “Conan” scored a 0.20, after its ratings were pre-empted last week. “The Daily Show with Trevor Noah” rose from a 0.27 to a 0.33 on Comedy Central.
Here are the late-night numbers for Sept. 11-15, 2017:
Notes: The Sept. 12 broadcast of “Kimmel” was retitled and excluded from weekly averages. “Kimmel,” “Late Night” and “Late Late Show” all aired encores on Sept. 15 as well, while “Last Call” was preempted.
