In the week of Sept. 26-30, “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon” held onto the top spot in the 11:35 p.m. time slot for the second week in a row in the new season, despite dropping from its previous 0.89 to a 0.86 rating in adults 18-49. Also on NBC, “Late Night with Seth Meyers” experienced a minor increase from a 0.46 to a 0.47.
“Jimmy Kimmel Live” continued its recent losing streak to CBS’ “Late Show with Stephen Colbert,” though both shows ticked up from their previous ratings to 0.50 and 0.53, respectively. Meanwhile, “The Late Late Show with James Corden” managed to hold steady with a 0.33 for the second week in a row on CBS.
In cable, “Conan” went up from a 0.23 to a 0.24, while “The Daily Show” had a notable increase from a 0.28 to a 0.33.
