“Judge Judy” regained the No. 1 spot among weekday syndicated shows for the week of May 23-29. The courtroom show scored a 7.0 household rating for the week, beating out last week’s leader, “Family Feud” (6.8). The “Feud” remained the No. 1 game show by a comfortable margin.
“Dr. Phil” continued as the top talk show with a 3.2 rating, four tenths ahead of “Live with Kelly.”

Why do you use household ratings here but nowhere else? Ad deals for syndicated shows are largely based on household ratings and, for daytime shows, ratings among women 25-54.
What about “The Simpsons”? “Simpsons” repeats in syndication are not counted in the weekly ratings because they don’t include any national advertising.
“Weekend Adventure” is a package of nature shows airing weekends on many ABC stations.
For syndicated shows airing on multiple days, the viewership is the average of all telecasts.
