Thanksgiving week was a short one for a number of syndicated shows, as they took off Thursday and Friday. In at least one case, however, it was also a strong week.
“The Ellen DeGeneres Show” scored a season-high 2.6 rating in households, finishing second to “Dr. Phil” (2.8 for reruns) among talk shows. “Ellen” was two tenths of a point ahead of “Live with Kelly and Ryan,” which matched its season high.
“Judge Judy” remained No. 1 overall with a 7.4 rating, well ahead of “Family Feud” and “Jeopardy,” which tied for second at 5.7.

Why do you use household ratings here but nowhere else? Ad deals for syndicated shows are largely based on household ratings and, for daytime shows, ratings among women 25-54.
What about “The Simpsons”? “Simpsons” repeats in syndication are not counted in the weekly ratings because they don’t include any national advertising.
“Weekend Adventure” is a package of nature shows airing weekends on many ABC stations.
For syndicated shows airing on multiple days, the viewership is the average of all telecasts.
Distributor key: DAD = Disney ABC Domestic Television, SPT= Sony Pictures Television, 2/T=Twentieth Television, WB = Warner Bros., CTD = CBS Television Distribution, NBU = NBCUniversal.
AT = Additional Time/Telecasts, more than the typical number of episodes or time periods/week.
