“The Ellen DeGeneres Show” had a slightly better week in the ratings for Oct. 10-16, nearly overtaking “Live with Kelly” for the No. 2 spot among talk shows. “Ellen” drew a 2.3 household rating for the week, just a tenth of a point behind “Live with Kelly’s” 2.4. “Dr. Phil” stayed at No. 1 among talk shows with a 3.3.
The top of the rankings didn’t change, with “Judge Judy” (6.7) remaining No. 1 for the 11th week in a row with a 6.7 rating. “Family Feud” finished right behind with a 6.6 and was the top game show for the 25th consecutive week.

Why do you use household ratings here but nowhere else? Ad deals for syndicated shows are largely based on household ratings and, for daytime shows, ratings among women 25-54.
What about “The Simpsons”? “Simpsons” repeats in syndication are not counted in the weekly ratings because they don’t include any national advertising.
“Weekend Adventure” is a package of nature shows airing weekends on many ABC stations.
For syndicated shows airing on multiple days, the viewership is the average of all telecasts.
