Game show “Who Wants to Be a Millionaire?” had its best ratings in seven months in the week of Oct. 16.
The show cracked the top 25 with a 1.7 household rating, its best number since the week of March 13. It was the only game show to improve week to week, as “Family Feud” (6.4) and “Jeopardy” (6.1) each came down three tenths of a point and “Wheel of Fortune” was flat at 5.9.
At the top of the rankings, “Judge Judy” marked its 1,100th consecutive week as the top-rated court show in syndication. That’s a span of more 21 years.

Why do you use household ratings here but nowhere else? Ad deals for syndicated shows are largely based on household ratings and, for daytime shows, ratings among women 25-54.
What about “The Simpsons”? “Simpsons” repeats in syndication are not counted in the weekly ratings because they don’t include any national advertising.
“Weekend Adventure” is a package of nature shows airing weekends on many ABC stations.
For syndicated shows airing on multiple days, the viewership is the average of all telecasts.
Distributor key: DAD = Disney ABC Domestic Television, SPT= Sony Pictures Television, 2/T=Twentieth Television, WB = Warner Bros., CTD = CBS Television Distribution, NBU = NBCUniversal.
AT = Additional Time/Telecasts, more than the typical number of episodes or time periods/week.
