The final games of 12-time “Jeopardy” champ Austin Rogers’ win streak meant a ratings boost for the show in the week of Oct. 9.
“Jeopardy” improved by half a point in households over the previous week, scoring a 6.4 rating. That was good for third overall in the rankings.
“Family Feud” (6.7) moved up to No. 1, breaking an eight-week streak at the top for “Judge Judy,” which finished a tenth of a point behind at 6.6.

Why do you use household ratings here but nowhere else? Ad deals for syndicated shows are largely based on household ratings and, for daytime shows, ratings among women 25-54.
What about “The Simpsons”? “Simpsons” repeats in syndication are not counted in the weekly ratings because they don’t include any national advertising.
“Weekend Adventure” is a package of nature shows airing weekends on many ABC stations.
For syndicated shows airing on multiple days, the viewership is the average of all telecasts.
