The two primetime NFL playoff games were — by huge margins — the biggest broadcasts for the week of Jan. 9-15.

How big? Well, the 18-49 rating for the smaller of the two — a 9.4 for Saturday’s Texans-Patriots contest on CBS — was more than three times higher than the No. 3 show of the week, “This Is Us.” The combined rating for the two NFL games, 21.4, is greater than the total for the next nine shows on the list.

In viewers, NBC’s Sunday-night game drew 37.11 million and CBS’ game 29.82 million. “This Is Us” was again No. 3, and again CBS’ game was almost three times bigger.

The two primetime games weren’t even the biggest NFL contest of the weekend. FOX’s Sunday afternoon game delivered 48.52 million viewers and the highest household rating and share (26.1/46) of any NFC divisional round game in 20 years.

Here are the network standings for the week of Jan. 9-15 and the season to date.
