The first NFL-free week of 2016-17 for the broadcast networks came last week, which meant NBC, CBS and FOX posted smaller numbers than usual. That, combined with the return of its TGIT lineup, helped ABC claim the No. 1 ranking among adults 18-49.

The premiere of “Scandal” and returns of “Grey’s Anatomy” and “How to Get Away with Murder” all finished in the Top 15 in the demographic. So did “The Bachelor” and a news special featuring an interview with the president.

“This Is Us” claimed the outright No. 1 (no “non-sports” qualifier) among adults 18-49 with a 2.8 rating. “NCIS” topped 16 million viewers for the first time this season to lead the total-viewer chart.

Here are the network standings for the week of Jan. 23-29 and the season to date.
